A unique opportunity awaits DelVal students this week as The Aggie Insider Newscast searches for new members. Starting at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 9, students can audition as anchors for the newscast located in the Student Media Room (217) in DelVal’s Student Center.
The popular biweekly news broadcast works hand-in-hand with DelVal’s Media Club and is entirely student run. The event is being held by the newscast’s writer and producer Owen Klessel and the Media Club’s president and editor Nina Weiland.
Formerly known as TheFull360, the rebranded Aggie Insider has made waves in college media production. For two consecutive years in a row, it received Pennsylvania-wide recognition at the Student Keystone Media Awards by winning the Division II Sweepstakes Award in 2025 and 2026 among various categories, including Best Newscast in 2026.
After graduation of anchors Charlie Roller and Lauren Caruvana, the newscast strives to maintain its success by finding students interested in fulfilling these important roles.
To audition, students must sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyers located around campus or attached to this article below. The Student Media Room is located on the second floor of the Student Center across from the Sigety Room.
For more information or questions regarding the event, students can contact Weiland via email weilandna2958@delval.edu.
